GenMusic is excited to introduce our first installment of Studio Sessions with Bekim and The Basement Sounds featuring Paisho. Bekim is an African-American-Albanian artist from NYC who has a passion for lyricism and storytelling.

During this session, the band gathered in Brooklyn for an afternoon of creating. Over the course of 3 hours, they created 2 songs in a live jam session, which was streamed on Tumblr. The goal of these sessions is to give people an inside look into the life of an artist in the studio, as well as act as a vessel for inspiration and collaboration.

This Studio Sounds session is made possible with the help of SuperNova Studios, a full-service music studio based in Brooklyn.
